Alberto Navarretta

Since 2018 Alberto has been the CFO of Versalis, one of the leading chemical producer in the international scene, subsidiary of Eni SpA. From 2009 to 2018 he was Senior Vice President of Planning and Control in the Refining & Marketing division of Eni. In this position, he contributed to the restructuring of the business, the development of international ventures, and the start up of new innovative businesses (eg green refineries, car sharing, hydrogen fuel stations). Previously he has worked in the areas of Corporate Strategic Planning, Investment Control, M&A. In 2006 he was Executive Assistant to the CEO of Eni for Special Projects. He joined Eni in 1996, after a short experience in Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). He graduated in Chemical Enginerring at the University of Rome La Sapienza in 1994. He was awarded with the International Diploma in Chemical Engineering at the Imperial College of London, one of the world’s leading institutions in both the teaching and research of chemical engineering.

Alberto was Course Director in 2022.
