Ning Zhang an associate professor in Economics at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is also an associate member at the Department of Economics, University of Oxford, and affiliated with RFBerlin and CESifo network. Her research interests are labor economics and applied microeconomics, with a focus on the economics of the family and gender-based violence. She is interested in combining economic theory with empirical analysis to understand the incentives behind household behavior and the effects of family, gender, and crime on individual labor market outcomes. Her work involves both structural and reduced-form analysis.
